The Last Supper

This is a practice which has been developed to bring those from radically different backgrounds to us, with unique or challenging views or experiences, into contact in ways which are both decentering and productive. Each month we host a dinner with someone who challenges us, or whom we know little about, in an effort to allow their presence to disturb our own beliefs, positions and experiences in fresh and provocative ways.

A good group does not take itself to be unique, immortal, and significant […] but instead plugs into an outside that confronts the group with its own possibilities of non-sense, death, and dispersal ‘precisely as a result of its opening up to other groups.

– Deleuze
